Jks, looks clean and tidy and +1 for a hatch, almost a wagon. The gtb rims will look heaps better on it.

hey guys,

not sure if anyone would be interested, but just thought i would post an update on my rexy hatch

have done a few things since i bought it back in march:

* resonectomy
* gfb plumb-back bov
* 3" APS TBE w/ twin tip muffler
* clear side indicators
* jdm clear taillights
* jdm moulded mud-guards
* jdm sti front lips
* jdm sti rear spoilers
* stock 16"s replaced w/ 17" legacy gtb rims
* blitz boost gauge
* gfb manual boost controller - now running up at 1bar
* a fairly big service

what can I say, she goes pretty damn well now..
when i first bought it, the wastegate was well rooted, so boost cut was coming in extremely early, but after getting the major service done, it was like a completely different car ^_^

chucking on the 3" TBE took it to another level, and altho it is a fraction bit more laggy, once she gets going she definitely brings a big smile to my face :grin:

now unfortunately it has been quite a while since experiencing the twins, but in retrospect i think single vs. twin turbo setups both have their pros and cons, they provide a completely different drive, (ill always love the feeling when the second turbo gets going) and tbh i would be happy in either, as i just take the best out of what the car has to offer..

anyhow, time for some pics, it'd be nice to hear your thoughts, as a liberty man at heart, personally i think it looks pretty damn good for a rexy..











(yes yes i know my rear left tyre's flat, getting new tyres fitted tmrw)

yeh im a big fan of the gtb wheels, altho i think i might powdercoat them gold or gunmetal grey (probs gold for the jdm sti look)
