Hey Guys,
About to pick up my MY08 GT Spec B MT tomorrow. upgrading from a MY05 GT.
Can anyone give me a heads up about any issues about the new model I should be aware of?
What kind of 'running in' do you guys recomend? Flat out or take it easy?
Thanks

Welcome Bleak!

AFAIK, Subaru run the engine's in before shipping them, so no drama's on that front.
Still, Personally I'd give it 1500-2000kms before really giving it a hard time.

Keep the revs flowing throughout the rev range. Don't let it sit at a certain rev range. It will help the rings bed in better. Don't hold back.

Thats probably the best way to run it in. My cousin bought a brand new MG a few years back, and was told to keep it reving higher for the first 1000k's

congrats on the purchase mate, hope you enjoy it
