I fitted one of these, good value. But beware lots of the Bumper needs to be cut, reqiures relocation of the expansion bottle and a bit of creative thinking to make everything fit. And forget about keeping the driving lights.
Looks good and reduces heatsoak alot, but not ping.

the core doesnt have to be massive, and if you can design it so nothing is cut and moved, even better

Re: WWW.SCARLES.COM.AU

i've got this kit and running a 550x180 core.  I know the 180(h) will fit a b4 without cutting the crashbar as HIRISK had one custom-fitted.  Due to this pre-fab kit however, cutting the crashbar is a must (mines off for now).  Not sure if you can avoid cutting the bumper tho.

Even though cutting some of the front bumper is required, mine still looks stock and has reduced my heatsoak and lately, after some more cutting of the underside of my bumper for better airflow (only the bottom half the core is getting direct airflow), pinging appears to have gone too *knock on wood*.

How are you guys progressing with this new kit? I had some pretty serious interest before, but I dropped out due to needing more immediate and useful parts. However, these have now been purchased and I am now back in the market for a FMIC. Does anyone have any pics of before and after shots of the amount of cutting required on the bumper? I have this rather nice 401 bumper sitting at the painters now, and don't particularly want to go butchering it, especially after spending $400 getting it painted...

Cheers,
Ben
