Welcome to the site mate

As CRUISN said use the search function to find all the info you need for modding your Lib.

Rex front brakes will fit straight on but the rears need some modification. You should also check clearance to make sure they would fit under your rims

No probs mate smile

You should try and come along to the next monthly hooters meet up to get an idea of what other people are doing to their gen 2's. The next one is at hooters parramatta on Wednesday the 7th January.

Before i put in my coilovers i had mine clearing the ground by 10cm all round while rolling on 18's.

You can see pics of it in the "my ride" link in my sig

Re: wrx bits on liberty

i suggest getting some GTB (twin turbo wagon import version of your car) brakes on it.

i bought some of a guy on here.

they are 294mm rotors and twin pot calipers, i only did the fronts and that is way more than i needed. you need minimum of 17's for these to fit and they bolt straight up (literally three bolts plus wheel nuts to do on each side)

double check but im pretty certain these brakes also came on the forester XT (XT is only 03 onwards i think) and B4 gen3 liberty's

EDIT: your cuttent front brakes are 266mm single pots, and i think the majority of wrx's (eg the older stuff) is 277mm twin pot

well yeah in that case why not aye, they should bolt up (double check me!) and there would be plenty of space under those rims to fit them. but probably not your stock wheels. those rims (being 18's) i believe are defectable, in SA we can only go a max of 2 inch bigger, so if you get defected you may have to change the brakes back also. but thats not a big task at all

yeah it should have two tire sizes on it cos that model (my model) came out with different size rims on different levels. should say 14s and 15s

your max width should also be 215mm tires. im running that but they ***in scrubbed till i rolled gaurds

As i said before the front's will bolt straight on. The rears will need a dogbone adapter to fit them. You will need to either cut or drill off the backing plate and then use the dogbone to mount them.

Incorrect, the RX that the OP has came with 277mm twin pots standard.

What model are the WRX brakes off?

I've got 99 rex brakes on my gen II

4 Pot Front with 310mm Rotor and 2 Pot Rear with 290mm Rotor
