Initially i wanted a medium wagon to throw the boards in.

Then i wanted something that was a little bit unique, ie not seen 100 times everyday, looked good, had the comforts, went well and would respond well to a few mods.

The Legacy ticked all the right boxes for me.

Several reasons, for one they are more classy than the other brands can offer. They also have great performance and are very practical.

Everything else in the same price range was either boring, slow, or ****. Looked at an F6, but I would have been buying an engine and putting up with the car, and you need to spend big coin before you get decent brakes. BMWs and Mercs in the same price range were either tiny, or basic models that were as slow as a wet week. Etc.

Once I'd decided on a Liberty I briefly considered a wagon before coming to my senses and realising that wagons are ghey. Sedans ftw

Dad bought a GT Fozza when i was like 10 or 11. Had me hooked, its such a nice car, and now that i can drive it it makes me crave some powahhhh!!!

Boxer rumble, different looks, reliability, compadibility with other models.

The N/A's suck arse though but has me hooked on Subaru's. Even though my next car wont be one ill definatly be coming back to the Lib's for sure........wagon though, they are teh sex

Mine hasn't lived upto many expectations, its not fast for a turbo car, it doesnt stop well, handles ok but nothing all that crash hot, in the past it has been un-reliable (engine failure) a few electronics problems, it chews fuel like a V8, noisy lash in the diff, not enough torque, (suffers bad with any weight at all) in gear acceleration is **** (need to down change to overtake properly) its temperamental and goes better on some starts then it does on others (not always related to the ambient temperature)

Funny thing is I don't think I can ever picture myself selling the thing ever......... I don't know how I would part with it LOL! would be too weird.
So perhaps they brainwash us into liking them???

I am pretty impressed with the interior build quality but, its stood up to a lot (with the exception of the crappy thing plastic under the armrest on the door trim mouldings which cracked under nearly no weight).

Thing is I do appreciate it more after I get into most other cars and drive them then back into my B4, the way the car drives seems to be a lot more focused and capable then a lot of other similarly priced cars
