I do not like libertys.

Pros
-No big plastic **** over the engines.
-Fairly easy to modify, heaps of parts, similarities between other subaru engines.
-Usually very reliable (I know guys with gen1's that are still going past 350000kms)
-Most subarus can hold their own and are often compared to cars with bigger engines. One car magazine puts the current liberty 2.5i in the same league as the ford mondeo turbo (5cylinders)
-They look good, their different and not as common as other everyday cars.


Cons
-F$$$king brants alarms
-tune on b4
-Subaru dealerships

- It mauls most cars on the road
- You dont get the hoon label like a WRX
- It has leather
- It can be destroyed which is a good way of assessing my driving expertise
- Its not a legacy
- Tune can be eradicated easily
- it has flutter
- it has PTSH!
- My grandfather can get away with driving it.
- pickup quality chicks with it, not skanks like a WRX would.

Only like the smoothness and comfort of the liberty's. Oh and gen 4's are pretty sexy when a little money is spent on them. That'd really be the only thing I'd upgrade to.

no, its a genuine legacy gt with a turbo. not sold in australia. completely different to all other australian gen2s.

paying an extra $300 for insurance for a car with over twice the power sounds good in my books.
