Water problems

  Top of Page

Hi Guys and Gals...
I'm not sure what this part is called. But there is a lot of water collecting in there every time it rains..When I open the hatch it pours out through the spot where you replace the globes and goes through the back of the car..
So, I need to fix this and am hoping that someone else has had this trouble and knows what to do. I'm sure it will be a replacement of a seal...
Thanks in advance..

someone more familiar with Gen 3's could clarify this but from what i've seen, it seems to be a pretty common issue with the gen 3 rear garnishes? i know of several guys with gen 3 wagons and they have all had that water build up issue in the rear garnish and tailgate. i guess checking seals or for cracks would be a starting point

Thanks aekOne
I was hoping to find out if anyone has used a sealant themselves and what kind of sealant they have used...
I guess i can just take it off and fix it back on with a new weather proof sealant from an auto store...
