A note to people looking to buy anything from anyone on this forum.
There are a few things you can do to make your self comfortable with purchasing. Check the person's profile, check when person was last on line, when person last posted and maybe ask straight out if anyone has had any problems with purchases from a particular member.
Miloboy hasn't even been on the forum for since May last year and was not a particularly active member, this I discovered after 2 minutes searching.

Correct Sarah purchased the sticker in may 2007 and has now only brought this issue to light.

Also, if you see something suspect, or not sure on something, Mod's will always be more than happy to help if we can.

I purchased my sticker from Miloboy.

I don't think it is a scam and I don't think he deserves to cop this crap. I had no problems with mine, sticker is fantastic and time and charge was more than acceptable.

A fine ass sticker is what I got.

Just because it doesn't say something about chromies and BMW's doesn't mean you need to knock it, Alex(leb).

Miloboy has previously come through with the goods, I don't suspect foul play here for a minute.

Ive sent numerous PM's to this Miloboy member. thinking he was a genuine member of the site and was just being an ass and ignoring me. I also posted a thread a few months back regarding where my sticker was and for some reason, it was deleted.

Hence why im bringing it up again, to a higher authority.

Sooo annoyed and frustrated that this could happen, especially when there are so many mods and admin to protect things like this, Not having a stab at this site, but it just goes to show, how people get around it, its scary....

I just feel ripped off that i got ripped off, you know  :no2:

Yes the sticker showed up. I don't know why you have not been able to get a reply from him. I remember the initial contact for me was delayed (he took a while to reply to the PM) but once I paid I just patiently waited (was maybe 2 weeks) and it showed up.

It's simple. At the time he started offering - OzLiberty wasn't selling 'merch.'. He charged to cover the costs for doing it and the time it took him - not for a profit.

It is disappointing Sarah that you have not gotten your sticker after all this time. Unfortunately situations in peoples lives do change, perhaps Miloboy is no longer able to visit this forum.

Are you sure the money was actually transferred to his account? Have you triple checked to ensure it didn't bounce?

I sent Nathan a pm last night reguarding this matter.

As has been said, at the time, OzLib didn't have any and miloboy said he could do them. I bought one off of him without any hassles.

Sarah,

Just so we put this straight. You bought the sticker on or about may 2007 Correct. It is a pity it has taken you so long to let some one know about this as something could of been done at the time. So unless you contact us how are we to know?

Cheers Nath

p.s i am working on new stickers and i am sure we can get one out to you.

Situations do change, and we all have priorities outside of an internet forum, but the guy's taken her money and not delivered the goods...
Hopefully he shows up and it all gets sorted out.

Guys,

I have had several transactions through miloboy, and i have had NO problems whatso ever.

my guess is that he has either forgotten about this site or just been very busy.

i dont think he is fraudulent at all.

Veryfewmiles- Milo boy started making stickers for us members out of his own free will as his contrubution to this site. He also got them made locally which supports Aussie buisness's.

He did this way before any admin on ozliberty pulled there finger out of their ass and decided to make "official" stuff. the 'official" stuff you offer is made in USA isnt it?  great way to support an australian based forum dont you think?

I liked the idea that a fellow member was going out of his way to do this for us, its easier than importing stuff from another country by having the products ready at hand and if any probems arise they can be resolved quickly and with ease
thank you for your time
