turbo = pole in rectum?

  Top of Page

Why is it that a decent percentage of the turbo lib owners think it's hilarious to pick on p platers and "noobs" with n/a libs?

if someone asks a question about how to get more power or better handling from an n/a it's just plain old arrogant to say "oh well it's n/a it's always gonna be slow... blah blah blah"

You arrongant anushats need to pull your head in (or should that be "out"..... of your arse).

Remember when YOU had p - plates, remember when YOU didn't know much about cars (not that you know much now if your replies to the n/a d00ds are anything to go by)...

some younger & less experienced members need some guidance, they made the effort to track down some advice and you give them a slap across the face.

we are all subie fans, why can't we treat eachother with some respect?

you just need to ignore the wankers on here....  If someone has some honest advice to give that hasn't alredy been said before, I'm sure they would.

It doesn't matter where you go,  your always going to get ppl that like to give a little curry to the "new" guys.

2 reasons that others a quick to shoot them down.....1 - because the same question has ussually been asked more than once on here and a quick search of the forum would answer thier question.   2 - Gives em a chance to whore the thread and get their post count up........  seems to be important for some reason.  lol

I use both reasons 1 and 2 big_smile

Im guilty of this, even tho i own a POS N/A my self.

I generaly just tell people to search for it if there 1 post n00b. But you do get certain individuals who are just plain thick... and i honestly cant help myself i find it incredibly funny reading there replies...

Please, to anyone reading this. DO NOT TAKE ME SERIOUSLY! smile

Pretty ignorant comment to say that everyone in a turbocharged car is suffering from some sort of rectile disfunction, know nothing about cars, and wander around with their heads up their arse.

You're right, we should all take a leaf out of your book and respect one another.

Cheers,
Nik

One day you will own a turbo car, and experience the anal pleasure that we do, till then rev dump your car and get to 100km/h in 2.36 mins.

dont associate everyone with a turbo car, when throwing abuse.

+1 for no more Noob bashing, im usually the 1st to say stop, but people are starting to take it too far. LEAVE THE NOOBS ALONE!, you people were all noobs at one stage too, and so was I..

and Suprauc.. do you not remember all the taunting you got from everyone? maybe step back a bit, and have a look at why some new members dont sign back on anymore

I do agree with you here. Being young myself and still learning a great deal everytime I tinker with my car I am in a similar boat to you.

I think you should take this oppourtunity to back me up in some of the suggestions I have made here as I believe a forum / site that is set up correctly should help new users to the site (and even new people to cars or Liberty's / Legacy's) find the information they need, and easily.

I do think that some of the attitude can be avoided on here, but it does not help when a user signs up to the site and in their first post asks how they can make their brand new 1996 NA 2.2L car as quick as possible.

There is a good chance that 90% of what they are asking has been covered before, many times.

Easy layout and formatting of information is crucial to avoiding these confrontations and I think if Ozliberty can really get its arse in to gear and get some serious organisation around we may see that there is a whole lot less hostility on these forums.

We all have been there yes, that doesn't necessarily mean that we like 'spoon feeding' and repeating to every new user that can't click a search button.

Too much whoring has gone on in here.

I think we all need to show more respect to each other.

NA Members are more then welcome, and we all should help out them out if they ask questions.
