by mynicknamerocks on 16-12-07 02:39 PM Why is it that a decent percentage of the turbo lib owners think it's hilarious to pick on p platers and "noobs" with n/a libs?

by theprotest on 16-12-07 04:02 PM Pretty ignorant comment to say that everyone in a turbocharged car is suffering from some sort of rectile disfunction, know nothing about cars, and wander around with their heads up their arse. |

by XXB4XX on 16-12-07 04:20 PM One day you will own a turbo car, and experience the anal pleasure that we do, till then rev dump your car and get to 100km/h in 2.36 mins.

I do agree with you here. Being young myself and still learning a great deal everytime I tinker with my car I am in a similar boat to you. I think you should take this oppourtunity to back me up in some of the suggestions I have made here as I believe a forum / site that is set up correctly should help new users to the site (and even new people to cars or Liberty's / Legacy's) find the information they need, and easily. I do think that some of the attitude can be avoided on here, but it does not help when a user signs up to the site and in their first post asks how they can make their brand new 1996 NA 2.2L car as quick as possible. There is a good chance that 90% of what they are asking has been covered before, many times. Easy layout and formatting of information is crucial to avoiding these confrontations and I think if Ozliberty can really get its arse in to gear and get some serious organisation around we may see that there is a whole lot less hostility on these forums. We all have been there yes, that doesn't necessarily mean that we like 'spoon feeding' and repeating to every new user that can't click a search button. |
