Top of the mornin to ya!

  Top of Page

G'day all.

Thought i'd join up and get to know a few of you. The old man is looking yo buy a 07 Liberty GT Spec.B. He was originally looking at just auto's but wants to test drive a manual! So there could still be some hope!

Anyhow, I thought i'd come snoop around the forums for some hot tips and answers to some questions about the car.

Actually went down to Subaru in Glen Waverley this weekend and had a look at their range. Only car available to test drive was the Liberty 3.0R spec.B in Automatic. Took that for a spin and being the first AWD(not 4wd) car i've driven. It was bloody amazing! The grip was sensational! That and the 3L H6 pulls really nicely!  We're booked in to test drive both the manual and auto variants of the GT Spec.B next weekend. Can't wait!

Cheers all!

p.s. Looking at the Regal Blue. Anyone have any pictures of it?!

Woops! And i also found this on the Subaru MELBOURNE website. I didn't see it at all on the Subaru Australia website and thought anyone wanting to buy one may like to get in on this deal.  The sales person also failed to give any mention of this even after a conversation about golf!

http://melbourne.subaru.com.au/promotions/?promoid=406

Test drive a new Subaru Liberty, Outback or Forester before the close of business 30 June, 2007 and you will receive a dozen Callaway Big Bertha golf balls(1) worth $39 (incl GST)!
But wait! There's still more!

When you purchase one of these new Subaru cars before the close of business 30 June, 2007 and you will also receive your choice of a $2000(2) Callaway Golf gift voucher and a session in a Callaway Golf Performance Fitting Centre, OR $2000(2) worth of Subaru vehicle accessories!
As my father is a keen golfer i'm sure he has no need for 2k worth of golf stuff ontop of his already expensive golf clubs.  So i'm suggesting he go for the 2k worth of Subaru Vehicle Accessories! Probably the STI front lip and Boot lip/spoiler.

Welcome to the site mate.

Should definitely convince him to go for a manual! A work mate was looking at getting an auto b-spec about 10 months ago until a few of us bagged him no end for 2 weeks.

He bought the manual and he's still grinning!
