You are king of the trolls on this retarded forum. But, I'm sure you're the life of every party you attend.

If this forum is so retarded, as you put it, then why is it you come back and post after being banned?

C'mon. I wanna hear it.

Bored. Own a B4.

I am involved in GtRydaz.com - proryda member - they are the people who own and run this site... So I feel eventually this forum will get there.

Not often I have a thread named after me, so pure fame/infamy will keep me comming back.

The ban was effected after a pissy mate got hold of my laptop.

Cheers,
Nik

I thought it would have been you having a tanty, as you virtually always do when I have a differentiating opinion to yours.

So, you're bored, huh?

And what do you expect this forum would get to in terms of comparison to GTRydaz?

And yes, it is not often you have a thread named after you. But doesn't it feel good to feel loved? I take it this is a rare event for you...

Having a community of like minded owners, working together to create an informative resource for others. GtRydaz just completed one of the largest non club sanctioned events in australia - including track time and workshops... a bit more than a 'cruise'.

The hope is, ozlib, one day will be able to have a similar event.

To be fair mate, I have never had an irrational narky response to your posts. We actually agree on most things automotive. Having a

Good to hear about GTRydaz. But, alas, you must remember that these forums were branched off another subaru specific one, that started before this one. In an idealistic world, this forum should flourish.

But alas, you really can't compare these forums to GTRydaz. Firstly, the name is uber ghey. It implies that the members are all Gangster Usher wannabes, wearing over sized clothing, enough jewelery to make Mr T cry, and driving their foresters like they're escalades on 24's, y0. But I guess that isn't relevant, really.

Sure the club may have completed Australia's largest doobilackie. Excellent. Congrats. But, I don't think you'd ever get a similar thing here.

I dunno. I guess what I'm getting at is perhaps you're getting too disappointed with these forums because you expect too much from them. I guess everyone here is rather laid back (which is good), and sure we enjoy our cars, but I wouldn't drive half way to Bangladesh for a club meet. As many here wouldn't. As much as we love our cars, we can't invest so much time, effort, and money, into "keepin' it alive, y0" type of attitude for what is essentially, a car forum.

And I never have quite misinterpreted your posts. Its actually rather refreshing to actually have discussions (ok ok...arguments) with someone who is intelligent enough not to put ghastly bodykits and plaster hideous badges onto their rides, and articulate an equally intelligent (read: sarcastic) response. I believe it also opens the minds of other users who read such posts to actually challenge themselves into thinking and doing things that perhaps be a little better, and perhaps bring a smile to someone's face at the expense of some hapless little n00b who asks a stupid question.

So, Mr Protest (I assume you're a mister, else, you'd have to be the narkiest bitch ever to walk the globe): Sit back, relax, and enjoy the banter.

And get the heck out of my other thread!

Judging from your somewhat misguided summary of GTrydaz i would assume you don't spend much time there at all. Should you feel the need to remove the blinkers and do happen to stray you may learn a thing or two on tuning your vehicle. At the end of the day it is the members that make the forum not the forum that makes the members. Nick certainly does speak his mind and I whilst conversation is limited in his part of Australia he has to do it online (and at a dial up rate), to anyone that will listen. Alas, its those that kick against the pricks that provide the entertainment.

The world needs people like Nik.

I've read this entire thread and am at a loss as to what it's really all about.
SOO081 just ignore the cnut.
I don't believe the forum is in need of any type of defense against those who consider it anything other than what it is.
If he/she/it dosen't like it(to quote Eddie Murphy), they can get the fuk out.

Of course, if this is just an enormous piss take, or some argumentative banter, then I PROTEST.

If you actually read my previous post, you'd find that it was in fact, not a misguided summary, but more a stab at the name itself. But hey, hats off to you if its your thing. I only go there to surf the for sale threads. I don't care for much else, because I don't own a forester, and don't particularly like the way most are modded. I highly doubt I'd learn terribly much from there, as my vehicle is rather different to any turbo'd forester.

As I'm sure Nik would appreciate your character reference for him, I really don't see the need for it. Its inevitable that OzLiberty will never be anything like GTRydaz, I'm afraid. I won't go into the details, it may inflame things here too much (it appears there are already panties in a bunch atm).

But thanks for rushing to the aid in the name of GTRydaz. I'm sure they'll appreciate it. My original question was posed on his thoughts on OzLiberty...

fatcat's post was probably the most logical. bring on the t00bs man.

statistically you are wrong, and we have every plan to have ozliberty as succesfull. There is almost a good year seperating the 2 forums, other than that they are much the same, the people within the sites are much the same too.

Please, don't reassure me.

Convince Nik these "retarded" forums would be ever as good as GTRydaz.
