Obligatory hows it going post

recently purchased a 98 Rx Bilstein Edition for 5.3 k and its safe to say im more than stoked as i have been looking for a while and couldnt find one i liked for under 9

when i turn my fog lights on, only one of the light bulbs on each side go on, anyone know why this is haha

welcome to ozliberty mate. very tidy looking car you got there and at that price it's even better!!

if your foglights are the stock AUDM  ones then they actually only have one globe. There's just space for a second light. The JDM foglights have the extra as a turn light when you put on your indicator ie: if you indicate left then the globe on the left side turn light turns on to illuminate the corner

did u get this off ebay? used to have plates that spelt Jessica?? i saw it and every day the price seemed to drop! looks like a great buy!!

answer to your foglight question, they are AUS spec foggies - the outside space if you look closely, doesnt have a globe in it. it is just a reflector. JDM ones do have globes in them and they are used for extra turning lights (such as statesmans/fairlanes/i think some maximas have them??)

I was oggling your car in another thread just the other day aekOne, very nice to say the least.

Luke i sure did! yeh i was watching it for a while as well and watched it dropped i was initially put right off because of the automatic transmission but at that price and with a bit of persuasion i soon ended up bidding on it.

Also this is one i've been asked by 3 friends who havent gotten in my car and something that's had me stumped. What on earth does that bit of plastic do that pushes out on the centre console next to the transmission do?

photo?? centre console is the compartment between the 2 front seats and transmission is up further?

Is it a card holder? i think it was on my dads old gen 2 (only on autos)

ah yes thats what it would be!
i wouldnt keep my licence in there tho! i keep business cards in the business card holder!

i sometimes let my gf drive my car so i can drive her manual. but its an excel. not the same:(
