I would reccomend Vin for tuning work at STI from what I have heard from people.

You want a specialist to work on your SUBARU, already an expensive car to work on, and you don't want to pay the $$ for it.

In my opinion you can either take it to your local mechanic, pay your cheap/average rates and hope they have worked on a car like yours before and get it right.

Or you can take it to a specialist, who has worked on many cars like yours (And a lot of the time know little tips and tricks with your car in tuning, maintenance etc etc) and knows what they are doing, and you only pay a little more than your local mechanic.

It's not that hard to make the decision, but if you aren't prepared for inflated costs with Subaru's, sell it and buy a Commodore.

Really don't mind paying for quality.   Just as long as we get just that, QUALITY.  Not some run of the mill service.  I have not had the privilege of meeting Vin.  All I've met at STi so far are the front staff, who don't particularly strike me as knowledgeable on our cars.  Maybe next time I should wander into the garage and see if I can find Vin.  Do you think that'll work?

It's a bit sad though, if the only option we have is STi docklands.  I'm a firm believer that competition brings out the best in everyone.  And in the end, the consumers will benefit with better value added and grounded pricing if people have options.
