Subaru Liberty 2.5 Rx EJ25 Oil Selection

Hi guys,

I am thinking to buy Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic 0W40 for my Ej25 Subaru Liberty 2.5 Rx Non Turbo car. Is that okay also, or should I stick with 5w30?

I look forward to seeing replies.

0w40 to thin , i use castrol magnatec 10-40 , also not having a snail i'd just be putting the "on special" shit in too, anything from sparco like nulon 10-40 passanger car oil will be fine.

Stick with a 5w30, or max 5w40.
10w will be pretty thick on a cool morning/cold start and take longer for the oil to get around the engine. a 30 weight should be more than sufficient unless you are tracking it on a 40 degree day
