I was lucky that i could still enter the code.  The pad did not light up until i pressed a button, then i had about a second to press the number.  She didn't even turn over just went click:angry:.
At least i won't need subaru, get a chance to use the RACV membership.

I've only ever had 1 problem with it. My car started stalling on me for no reason while driving, thought it was the AFM then crank angle sensor and after spending 2 days at the mechanics it turned out where the brant wires join had corrodded causing it to short out.
The battery going flat and needing a master code isn't that big of a deal, especially if you already have it:Dirol:

Unless Subaru hold the master code for ransom as they tend to do...

Ok so i got the car going again, battery was at 5 volts, even interior light was dull, dash lights did not turn on and the fuel pump did not start.
The only problem now is that i still cant turn the imobiliser on, num pad just lights up on number one and thats it.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what was the fix for it.
