As far as I've known, the English have never really displayed good sportsmanship (especially spectators), and to top that - we give them a good run for their money at the majority of their own sports. For example - Rugby Union, Cricket to name a couple.

Don't forget just how rowdy they can get at a Football match as well. Ever seen footage of the riots? :suicide2:

They're probably just pissed that their weather is almost always to ****, or they can't let go of their scummy Medieval Ancestry?

As for Stoner - He's a genuine "nice guy" and he's always played an exceptionally good sport in any interview/press conference I've seen him in.

then again i shouldn't really be surprised about poms booing people. i read the british crowd booed the american national anthem when Ricky Hatton fought Meyweather over in the states last december.

It may go against my being an Aussie to say this but TBH - after living in the UK for 8 years, the Poms are no worse at whinging than anyone else - especially us aussies.
