STI Pedal fitment into B4

  Top of Page

Greetings all,
I need your expertise on fitment of sports pedals. Picked up a set of gold STi pedals in Japan and was told (in broken english) that they should fit into my B4. My question is to anyone who has fitted these to their B4...did you have to do some drilling into the clutch and brake pedals to screw them in or did you attach them another way? Probably a stupid question but i don't want to start drilling into them and then find out there was a simpler solution (who knows...maybe my Japanese friend told me the wrong thing).

the auto has holes already drilled in the pedals for attaching pedals

the manual pedals have a hooked top end and brackets on the bottom that go around the metal pedal frame and tighten with the allen key screws to hold them in place. no drilling required. the sti foot rest replaces the whole oem plastic one and unbolts from the floor. the accelerator goes over the top of the plastic OEM pedal and has a thin bolt that goes through the inside of the hollow hinge in the oem assembly. 10 minute job to fit the whole set

Cheers for that! I feel like an idiot now as i've just found the brackets. Although the set i have has a hooked bottom end brackets at the top. Anywho...that has made my day at work a whole lot better!
