Speed Racer the movie?

Ive watched it last night with a friend and i was left with mix ideas of liking it or not....

I liked it to a point then didnt coz it was a bit to child oriantated....

Anyone else seen it?

they specifically made that movie for kids, so that you can understand it?

But wait, that would be irresponsible, i watched the movie show the other night and they said it was pretty full on, in terms of epileptic-fit-inducing car race scenes.

yeah its a bit like that....dont get me wrong not bad movie for kids but for young adults its meh...when i was a kid i was a big fan of speed racer and racer X still am but i dont know now the movie just seems um  a bit boring:Pardon:

Haven't seen it - but from the previews I have seen it hasn't made me want to go and pay to watch it. Definately looks like one for the kids - and the start of a new movie franchise...

I took my grandson 4yrs old, we both enjoyed it, the special effects were well done, the storyline a bit much for kids to follow but I will give it :good::good:

not as much..i still liked it but it was a bit too full on in some parts....still prefere the cartoon
