Skyline Fire

  Top of Page

Well, a couple of weeks ago I was just casually cruising around Perth. I came to the tonkin/Benara  intersection and saw some debris and what looked like burn marks on the ground on Benara heading West. Then I stumble upon the rest of the story:

My mate says the pressure plate or something exploded, blew apart the bell housing and cut the fuel lines.

Dude are you serious???????
It's the same car on the same day at the same intersection. The first pictures were taken by one person travelling in one direction and the second(blurry) picture was taken by someone completely different travelling in a completely different direction.

Re: Skyline Fire

Hi Guys,
check this thread.  I used this idea and made the bracket myself:

http://www.rslibertyclub.org/forums/sho … hp?t=60078

All you need is some longer HightTensile bolts and some spacers (so the extinguisher doesn't hit the ducting).  I used some larger nuts and washers slipped over the bolt.  I also threaded the bracket I made to M5 and screwed the extinguisher straight into that with some M5x10 pan heads and spring washers.  Takes bugger all time.

Cheers
Darryl
