Nothing to see here....

Re: Six Million Dollar Home Theatre

you could build a very tidy set up for 20k and thats still a little excessive.

+1 for more money than sense.

but id like to have sit in there to see what its like.

went to the home audio show. was demo'd a system for 10k and later a system for 100k. there was f**k all difference. not 90k worth thats for sure.

Hi,

Considering a pair of these is $135,000USD - I can see the money stacking up quickly. That's just for speakers...

Though, there is no way in the world this system cost $6mil. Unless they are including construction of the room... and maybe purchase cost of the land? Crazy. Good luck to them though.

Nik

f**k me dead why waste 6 mill on that. he must be loaded. but it would be pretty fun playing forza 2 on it with a little car shell with a steering wheel set up and all. it may increase the expericence. but im sure it could be achieved for much less. and even if you had this mega set up why the fark would you watch ratitouie?

actually it would be nice to luse it as a music player and listen to some tiesto. cant wait till april when i go see him

Hi,

If my McIntosh head unit wasn't constantly throwing Er -3 and Er -6, I'd agree with you all...

Yeah I have heard about these 1.1 surround sound. This thing changes the wavelength of the sound wave creating it to appear the sound is coming from the rear or front or wherever. Pretty cool.

All I can say is what a 6M dollar piece of crap! Sure may sound good but the couch is rubbish its not straight so you cant lay down too well and there are no foot stools so where do you put your feet up. For all the its not like there got a 6M dollar entrance to their seats. Also I have seen a better screen than that. I would prefer a hoytes cinema screen with about 12 kick ass reclining chairs and the sound system on the walls prob cost half a mill.

LOL funny thing is that little mutt dog with tear up the play (In the full story pics). Wouldn't mind the DVD collection tho.

smile

Ow also what makes this also funny is that its allready out of date AHAHHAHAHA suck on that.

Hi 182,

Thought you were dead, we were about to send out a search party!

Those Wilson Alexandria X2 speakers are spastic good.

From a forum with too much money, it's now pretty much confirmed that there is no way in the world this costs 6mil...

His couch probably cost $20 grand, I'd say it has recliner functionality. You gotta take into account people that do this earn so much money that 6 mill is a drop in the ocean, funny thing is they probably only get to watch a movie once ina blue moon.

$6mil. AUD$6.6mil.
Thats a block of industrial units = retirement.
Oh well back to paying off all my debt.
I reckon it is a tad excessive, but still nice.

Too much jealousy going on here. Yes $6mil is excessive for everyone on this forum but if you are that successful, $6mil is prob how much you make when the FX market moves by a bee's dik of a percent. Even if its out of date, he's just 1 phone call away from renewing it all smile

Re: Six Million Dollar Home Theatre

Hi,

My position isn't really one of jealousy. As I heard about this from 6speedonline, a forum full of people who would quite easily drop seven figures without blinking. My point is, there is no way in hell it actually cost $6MIL.USD. Power to them for having the funds to do it.

I'm still young, I've got plenty of time to become a 'baller'.

On the count of it being 'too loud', and extraordinary set up such as this would have cost an exorbitant amount of money to tune correctly. If it is perfect, your head would explode before you thought it was too loud. Quite literally.

Cheers,
Nik
