by pacman on 23-10-07 11:36 AM ok guys so i been lookin into goin single turbo for a while now. i have everything organised except for the ecu i am totally stumped on wat to do i have been told so many different things. i no you cant remap the gen 2 so i was wondering wat you guys would suggest either piggy back full aftermarket (eg. microtech haltech) or if i should wire in like a v4 sti ecu. all opinions and advice are welcome and would be much appreciated |

by SUB4RU on 23-10-07 02:23 PM Go see chiptorque, they did a Ezyflash for me and it was perfect (1st time they had done it, im presuming they saved a file). I turned to autronic to get a more detailed tune and delete the air flow meter. |

by pacman on 23-10-07 02:26 PM yeah i called chip torque and they said because its an import they will have to run it on the dyno for a couple of hours, shove some barb wire up my ass twirl it round a few times and charge me 1200 bucks just to work out weather they could piggy bak it or not |

The gen 2 ECU can't be flashed. They would have to replace his ECU if he wanted it done there. |
