Hey all,

Just want to let you know, if you don't wanna keep using your cerwin vega surround system for your PC, Sennheiser headphones are the bomb..

I got a base pair of HD205's.. retail for about $80-100..

Best investment EVER!

random thread I know..

but damn I love my headphones.

I wanna now get the new series, about $350.00

(p.s I do some music editing so I love good muff .......... on my ears)

Some of the sennie's were up in the $600+ mark.. they would have to sound like a lesbian orgy in your ears

Yeah Sennheiser are good but then again after spending 25+ years working in heavy industry my hearing is now that bad I may as well use a $10 Tandy set!

Those $600 sets probably have some pretty serious active noise cancelling built in to them. Awesome on long flights, but pretty useless if you're sitting in your study listening to trance :new_russi

I'm thinking of a set of Alessandro MS-2's

These would be sweet, but I think $900 for a set of headphones (when listening to drum and bass) is a little much. Oh, and no noise canceling either.

I swear by my Ultimate Ears Super.fi 3Studio.  They're little in-ear (or canalphones), but fantastic balanced sound.  Great value considering reference quality sound.  Great for portable players as they're easier to drive than big ear muff type headphones.

Would love to get a UE Triple.fi 10Pro if the only missus would approve.  If only!
