Search function not working

Search function not working

After ive typed in what i want to search for and hit search all that happens is that i just get sent to the advanced search page, even if i try to search from the advanced search it just keeps looping on me and never performs a search.
Is anyone else having this problem?

I find it does this only when it doesnt come up with a direct match.

Thats correct. You can refine your search further in order to find what you are after.

So if it doesnt find a direct match it doesnt bring up any results?
Because im not even getting the usual page saying that your search is being performed, every time i hit search it does nothing but reload the advanced search page.
