sound sony , thumber in the boot . + 2.5 Motor now on the build

I have Al doing the wiring on the old girl & need to get the new boots fitted to my rims. As I just purchased a 2.5 ltr 257 fitted with Jun 264 cams / retainers / springs. It has non AVS bug eye heads fitted and sti manifold with pink injectors . The motor has never fired a shot to date. I am going to pop the heads off and its getting a set of forged pistions & eagle rods. I am now sitting back and looking / reading about turbos & following Sams build over here in the west.

I have lent on Al over the past few days for some direction with the harness & what ECU to run.

stay tuned for photos once its back on the ground & the above fitted

From the sounds of things its going to be a bit of a weapon. Orientated more to track duties or mainly a daily?

I have a nissan silvia for a track car

The liberty will be a toy / used at the drags & a few track days with the RS club here in Perth.

As I want to get this on the road sooner than later, I am keeping the GTB motor in it for now. I will get another GTB loom & have it spliced with a GD harness at a later date.
