There is also screens on the wheels, where the centre caps should be I saw this at auto salon Melbourne and spent about an hour starring at it, there are parts l like however most i dont. It definitely is a show car however im someone who prefers practicality with a little bit of show. Alot of time and effort has been put into this car so definitely credit where due, its certainly a stand out. I certainly don't hate this car....however i can't say it appeals to me, but as always each to their own |

by [RYTONQ] on 28-10-08 03:42 PM yea tvs in wheels are dumb we moulded them into the centrecap but al for an award they r removable for street use. tvs in engine bay i had been given screens for nuffin and had 2 plain strut towers so thought why not they work and have no effects from heat.

by B4BOY on 28-10-08 08:14 PM Cant say im a fan of the car. Even so I can appreciated the time and money that went into building the car. I think these cars are only really good for showing off what can be done...Like racing cars things start there then flow down to the street (if that make sense).

i have a fair idea, its comments like this that get a response if you put up negativity it just asks for people to get narky, then you wonder why we say things? you said you looked forward to it, then got your back up when we commented? if your really pushing 300kw(im not arguing this either) you must have had the whole engine apart, so why not go for later heads with avcs and a more modern inlet manifold? the rs manifold, while good is over 20 years old in design and there have been vast improvements made in manifolds over the years. i appreciate the amount of effort in show cars i really do, i helped Sean put HVDFLU back together more than once, but i have no respect for the auto salon system. the winning cars should be up to the judges interpretation, not a sheet where boxes get ticked and the biggest shopping list wins, anyway, thats just my 2c. |

by 988OXR on 28-10-08 09:44 PM To everyone that doesn't like it, get over it. Its a show car built as a show car. Good to see someone has another Liberty in these shows. Sure, most of them are as useless as tits on a bull, however, its not everyday people get to see a Liberty in one of these shows.

by subnub on 29-10-08 11:38 AM It's certainly not my cup of tea either, but the level of commitment required to build a car like this is obvious. Anyone who has done even fairly basic mods to their car should be able to appreciate the time, money, heartache and skill involved in building this. |
