Roofracks or Tow Ball-MY07 Wagon

  Top of Page

Hey there.  I bought the wagon to basically take my mountain bike places, but now that I've started going with friends, we try and car pool.  So there is no longer room for just one bike.

Now, what would be my best option both looks wise and cost and practibility etc to obtain this ability?  Roof Racks with bike holders, or get a tow ball fitted somehow with bike rack.

Also, I don't like the look of the Subaru roof racks I see getting around.  i much prefer the streamlined versions where its one piece going all the way accross and into the mountint socket thing.  Are those ones capable of having bike racks mounted on them?

Thanks, Westy

nice one mate!! ive just bought a 4gen wagon too!!
personally i wouldnt put a bike ontop of anycar i own. Wouldnt want it to slip while you're trying to secure it and scratch your roof!!!
What i bought recently is a bike platform made by Thule. It holdes 3 bikes and cost AUS$445. Very nice and solid platform that won't damage your roof in anyway.
