Hey guys. I have done a bit of a search and found that usually this would require a respray. But just thought I'd make sure and also see if anyone knows prices and how much I'd need to do. So here's the info:

Some annoying kids near where I work (don't know who it was) thought it'd be funny to scratch "F*** You" into my car on the front left quarter panel above the wheel. It's pretty deep, annoyingly visible and because they can't catch who did it I'd have to pay for an insurance claim.

Car is a silver '99 Lib RX. What are my options? Can I do a touch up paint? Single panel respray? I've read on the cut and polish kits not to use them on metallic paints. I'm not sure what to do with it...also thinking maybe I should just save up and do a full respray on the car (but in the nicer silver from later models, not the dirty champagne like silver), but not sure what this would set me back either. There is paint peeling off the spoiler and bumpers too...
