by BJspecB on 21-08-11 02:52 PM Has anyone tried Bridgestone RE002 or S001 tyres yet? I have Kumho KU36s on my 3RB at the moment, but I wouldn't get them again. The Bridgestones sound interesting, and the prices don't seem too bad if you shop around a bit. RE002 in 225/45/18 are $325. |

by B4Cruiser on 22-08-11 09:14 AM I've got the RE001 which is the previous generation. Great tyre. Just a tad off on the F1's but still has good grip in dry and more importantly, in the wet. |

by B4Cruiser on 22-08-11 11:12 AM Never ran on the RE050As. i bought my ride few years back and they were on the same Kumho's you have. Only had the Adrelin for a couple months mate so can't comment on wear, but its a quiet tyre and grips much better than the kumho's, esp in the wet.

by BJspecB on 22-08-11 12:51 PM Do you mean the F1 Directional 5 or the Assymetric 2? Anyway, they don't seem to have the size I want. |

by youbewdy on 09-11-11 10:23 PM This thread is a little old but I'll comment on past experience. The 050A was standard equipment on the GT and 3.0R-B, certainly on the 18" rims in AU and NZ. Also standard on the WRX for a while. I've had the 050A on my WRX and R-B wagon for the last 5 years and it's a very very good tire. Probably the best wet / dry performance tire for the money. It's discontinued now so probably an S001 would do the job! |
