if you mean the police helicopter then yes and mate and i have. We were 4wding in a closed 4wd area just south of Perth when we heard a chopper. They proceeded to hover about 100m above us i guess, when we piss bolted out of the area and split up. We lost them, but suspected they where just trying to scare us off. Haven't heard anything about it and this was just over 12months ago.

It did scare the s**t out of us. Havent been back there since!

Lets just say I was blowing out some cobwebs. At about 2pm. On the GWH.

T'was only a quick little squirt, and I looked up and out of the windshield, to my left, was the eye in the sky, hovering along, facing me, for a couple of kilometres. As soon as I noticed him (t'was only a quick squirt, about 10 seconds) I backed right off. He followed me for a little further, and disappeared.

I got quite worried, as it was my first time ever. Here I am, thinking of back streets in going home, all these weird and wonderful ways of eluding police, thinking of underground carparks I could ditch the car.... Continued driving home (another 10km or so along the highway) and not a copper in sight.

Cant say I was that lucky. I didnt even realise POLAIR was chasing me as I was too busy loosing the filth behind me. But POLAIR had the video evidence which convicted me of my driving charges.
