Was finally about to connect to my ECU. Throwing the following error codes... so looks like Frank wins with his suggestion to me yesterday!!

P0136 02 Sensor Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
P0500 Vechile speed sensor malfunction
P1518 Starter switch circuit low input
P1591 Neutral Position Switch Circuit Low Input for AT

I managed 126.6kw atw, the most out of the three auto tranny B4's running original engines.

Minimal valley, apparently no pinging, justifies my "my car doesn't ping" stance due to it being one of the later model versions with the better tune.

Nah no plans on chasing, but will make tweaks to allow the car to run a little bit better, because as soon as you change one thing on a B4 you really need to keep an eye on it's tune, and that's an expensive prospect.  Rather get everything together in one place at the one time and do it as a job lot.  Then again paying the house off quicker is a much more inviting prospect, especially as the missus is keen on seeing what the Gen5 liberty wags looks like and possible stumping up the cash for a new one.
