Posting Large Awkward Items?

Ok, So say i wanted to post a large, awkward shaped item such as a muffler.
who do i do it with? Australia post is like, it cant be more than 105 cm long and cant have a girth larger than 140 cm :S

I need all your pearls of wisdom asap !!! tongue

Hi,

Depends on how far you really want it to go, and who the expense of the postage is. If you want it for cheap, check out Greyhound Freight they seem to consistently be the cheapest for bulkier items.

On inspection it seems they have changes their size limit though;


          Size:     200cm x 100cm x 80cm


Should do most things though? You could send a person in that space.

give a call to MRL Logistics on 1300 796 826 they'll help you out and answer any questions that u might have im pretty sure theyl beat any other frieght price u have as well..

taking the initiative i see adam, haha good stuff. Just rang MRL Logistics, the young guy i spoke to was very helpfull and was a great break from the pile of work on my desk. hopefully the quote he gives me is a good price

packandsend are good. i've used them for a few things (extractors, FMIC with piping)
