yeh i have always gone to mermaid and the fella there showed me the website and the had like 5 different front sway bars but they were all ex turbo so i really dnt no wat to do lol. i also asked if there was any other companys that would do the sway bars and he said he didnt no of any one

I've got a Gen 2 with WRX STI front sway bar, Pretty sure the WRX & Gen 2 are 19mm & identical, so an aftermarket front bar should be the same for both but ..............I may be wrong.

Im guessing you all realise that the Whiteline sway are heavier than the OEM items even at stock size.

I believe this is because the Whiteline items are more solid (Sway bars are hollow in the middle AFAIK), The extra regidity, even at stock diameter, will result in improved suspension performance.
