Re: parallel turbos

im running mine in parallel.. until i put the changeover valve back in anyway..
compared tio sewuential it sucks. no boost till where the changeover would usually occur and no benefit in top end.
that is unless you go proper parallel using matched turbos it could be a weapon.

also... there is a B4 in adelaide thats just had a 2.5 put in. i ported the ecv and turbos on it a week or so ago. goes for tuning this week i think.

Re: parallel turbos

you dont understand...

2 tdo4s are laggy on a 2.5 and you want to put 2 sti turbos almost twice the size on.... youll never hit full boost!

try a 2.5 with a TF035 primary and TD04 secondary.

Billsy, I thought he was trying to avoid sequential, hence twin VF33's may be interesting.

If your tuner knows about turbo engines, he'll know what to do from there.

ah yeah i forgot that bit, my bad.

two 33's will still run out of puff near redline, and i imagine it would be a peaky power curve as the A/R of the housings is rather large. but id be fun
lag lag. SMACK on boost.
would also need an external wastegate
