panel beater dodgeness...

  Top of Page

Hey guys,

just want to know if it is necessary to go under the bonnet in order to fix an exterior damage.
ie.. i recently took some damage to the rear of my liberty sad and i brought it to a panel beater in Seven Hills NSW.. just got the car back recently... the respraying and everything was alright, except that the door came back a bit crooked..  gonna take it back for them to correct it this week..

this morning when i opened the bonnet to check something.. it seems a little different.. i don't know.. maybe its just me but it seems like somethings missing.. feels really empty.. but anyways.. they took that red battery cover off for some reason..

so yeah.. my question is that.. do they really have to go under the bonnet to fix the panels?

Thanks~

was there any damage on the bonnet they were repairing? or anything near the front of the car?

if not then they probably just opened the bonnet to disconnect the battery while they work

yeh the bonnet itself seems normal.. maybe you are right.. they might have just unplugged the power to work on the back panel.. but the space around the engine just seems different.. lol
anyways.. thanks man

as provar said, when 99% of panel beaters do repairs, the battery is disconnected for safety
