I used to play fairly regularly, and I still go play whenever I get the chance. Most of my best stories involve something that happened while paintballing.

Last year, I went to Oklahoma D-Day, which is the single largest paintball game ever. It was a 10 day event, with mini scenarios and challenges leading up to "D-Day", which is pretty much a recreation of the Allies taking Normandy, just with paintballs instead of bullets. There were over 4000 people playing in that single game, and it felt so much like a war it was frightening. Between that, sleeping in a tent the whole event, the horrible amounts of sulfur in the water, and the hurricane that hit in the middle of the week, it was a trip to remember.

that sounded like so much fun... they do everything bigger in the u.s. its mad.

i went at the start of november and got shot from a meter away in the inner leg right near the baby maker and i still have a mark there!! almost got up and killed the guy but i didnt have any paintballs left and the ref came over so i walked away.

i played ive once before and it was an outstanding amount of fun...however i to anyone who's going to play and is wondering whether or not to wear a box...

YES you should certainly wear one, i was shot in the crown jewels from point blank range and even with a box i felt it pretty hard...still it didnt ruin what was an awesome day...

ive went a few times and ive spent at least $800 on bullets and the nice gun:vinsent:

Used to love paintball till i moved to Japan and was introduced to airsoft. Its pretty much exact replica's of all your favourite weapons, but shoot liitle plastic BB's(do some nice damage) at around 350 FPS on full auto:triniti: Usually battery or gas powered and Japs love the sport. Have been to Huge couple thousand people events and the amount of cash that goes into guns is amazing!
I currently got a french FA-MAS as my primary weapon with 1500BB box magazine as well as a Steyer Aug with a couple 300bb mags and a Glock 17(gas powered) for handgun games.
BTW theres a petition for Airsoft to be allowed in Australia so hopefully that will go through:ok:

last time i went was the adelaide RSLC paintball day. i got hold of the allen key and a new Gas cylinder and PWON3D Everyone, hahaha

a maxed out gun can do some damage:swoon:

But in true rachel style I went and got concussion....on the second game i got hit in the head hardcore, ended up bleeding and everything....kept playing through the next games until we all ran out of paintballs....felt a bit funny and slept through the rest of the weekend....

But in saying that I would highly recommend it to everyone, so much fun going after people you know....
