I really enjoy using the new one. Its got a few new features that make using the site a lot nicer, and a few of the wanky current features have gone I'm just looking forward to releasing it so I have a reason to stare blankly at it...

It's a forum! It's not meant to be fancy! It's meant to be fast, simple and easy to use, and has a place to chat to other Liberty owners, No one uses the wanky stuff like "reviews" apart from the admin team!

by walts on 21-10-09 11:41 AM Sorry to name names Luke but take a page from Subyclub and RSliberty, they are both simple yet practicle therefore get used a lot more than ozlib (since it had its update)

by XoN on 21-10-09 11:43 AM walts I think the new features will get a bit more use than the reviews and classifieds do. And if you don't want to use those features, then you can just dwell in the forums, that's fine too... |

by XoN on 21-10-09 11:55 AM walts it's definitely happening. It's mostly done, we just want to spend some time with the mods finding any bugs and what not before it's released. |

Sounds interesting, although I personally am not attracted to all that 'ap' stuff when it comes to a car forum. I'm more interested in how the the more basic experience of making posts, creating new threads and PM'ing each other is because thats a weak point of this current forum. Do you have any pics of the basic layout of the site? |
