OzLiberty cards

  Top of Page

I often drive/walk past libertys and wonder if they are a part of this site. this got me thinking of how i can tell them about us.

i remembered one day about 5 years ago just after my dad got a new mini cooper s when we returned to the car and found a little card under the windscreen wiper advertising some sort of mini club.

so i got to work on photoshop this afternoon and came up with the card below. something simple that we can print off and place on the windscreen of subarus to let them know about this site.

through these cards, we can also get more members from specific areas. (eg, i find libs from around the central coast and we can build up a bigger 'coastal' community of members.) if that makes sense!!!

what do you people think???

Re: OzLiberty cards

sounds like a great idea, but yeah u run into the above issue of cost etc.

perhaps do it into a downloadable/ printable version so we can all just print em off on normal paper? looses that nice touch of being a business card but its free

Re: OzLiberty cards

i just pasted it into a business card sized picture onto a word doc, then copied and pasted it so there were about 8/page n printed it like that. you can print it on harder paper n just cut them out.

seems the easiest way to go about it!!

they might. but all they have to do is throw away the card!
if they like their car at all they might like having somewhere to talk about it! we can only try it out!!

spotted cards were a huge contributor when GT rydaz was first launched. we had over 5000 printed over 2 years.

I'll add this to Jamie's to do list, and they can be collected from the respective state rep.

Re: OzLiberty cards

thanks guys!
i printed some off tonight onto some card and they look pretty good! the word 'liberty' in the banner is a bit hard to see but that is in the night time - it will probs be ok in the day time! i can always have a go at lightening it if it is stil to hard to read!

Re: OzLiberty cards

handed out my first card yesterday after work. There is a GX Gen2 always parked in woy woy maccas (they work there) and now i have something to give them, so i did! went there again last night after band prac with the boys and it was still there!

i found that the cards are too small to place under the wipers but if you slide it between the window and the rubber seal it stands out and they cant get into their car without noticing it!

let me know if anyone sees a new member with a light green gen2 gx with nice alloys and an exhaust from the central coast who works at maccas!! yeeeeew!!
