Quick thanks to all that have contributed to the feedback and forum discussions about the beta site. One of the biggest lessons learnt with this move has been that until changes are put into place people don't offer you feedback. Even with appointment of two beta teting teams (well over 150 peolpe), we didn't get what we were really looking for as far as direction.

We are well into week 4 now without any problems with the sites infrastructure and core storage/ processing demands. This is great news and we will now begin to implement the final stages of the new site. Key issues being refined will be:

    * -Site load time (turning on caching, gzip, etc) and chron jobs for DB optimisation.
    * -Theme/ User Interface (UI), simplifying what we have, less generic more ozliberty and using new smarty templates for major traffic pages (such as the forum).
    * -SEF and SEO, we have crap loads of extremely helpful information for Liberty owners worldwide. We want to make it easier for google, etc to index it.

What we really want to make known is that we are continually working to make this place better. For the sake of self preservation we do need time to recoup and focus on our day jobs every now and then though.

So when's it all happening? Well now actually, we have heat maps of user's habits and activity so that will help konvict and co. with the UI. 2 days ago Xon and co. began a script which when completed will be the major key to unlocking the sites speed of delivery.
