Off Road Outback

  Top of Page

Hi Guys, On the weekend I took my 96 Outback for a drive in the bush. I really driving this car. It seems that losing grip is not an issue. No matter how slippery the road got the old girl just kept crawling away. The big let down on its behalf is the approach angle. Still I was very impressed with where I was able to go in stock
standard road car.

Would be very interested to hear from any body who has played with lift kits on both Liberty's and Outback's.

I am not looking to do anything radical just give my self a little bit of insurance when a track a nasty little spot.

Man i miss that car...

I highly reccomend HIRISE for your liftkit needs. They're fast with service, they're liftkits are very very strong, and very reasonably priced.

Not a good Idea about getting springs reheated and lifted. Most places didn't want to do it for me.

Give King Springs a call, direct to their office. Ask them to custom wind you a set of springs for you. They'll tell you that they will be reluctant to give you any warranty, etc etc. One inch lift shouldn't hurt!

http://www.kingsprings.com.au/kings_mas … alogue.pdf for the catalogue.
A quick scan has revealed that they do have a raised spring...
