That thing will be faster than any cop car/taxi (falcon/commo) that the cops will use to chase WRX drivers

Out of curios
when i was watching a rally race, one of the evo got the inter-cooler damage from a branch or rock and it had to pull out of the race

If an evo cop car is to chase you and you somehow slam on the brakes to avoid a cat on the street and the evo rear ended you, luckily you have a tow bar which damage the inter-cooler

would that cop call for backup or let you go?

Vik, even if it does break down its got more hope then this cop car that i took a picture of in NT just after doing 130kmh down the highway (which was the speed limit).

Also in the NSW Police show car garage was/is Lotus Elise/Exige can't remember which, as well as a VW Golf GTi, Mazda MX5 and I think they still have one of the wrx's, when they tried their hand at those.

What will be scary now is that with the confiscation laws the police can use any permanently confiscated car deemed fit for use, I beleive.

Lot's of issues.  Bet you don't hate them so much when your car is stolen/house robbed/friend assaulted/a speeding driver kills your partner. If your doing 140+ on a public road you deserve whatever you get. It's usually lawbreakers that hate cops.:ninja:

He would most likely call in your number plate, and within a day or two you will have a few friends in blue knocking on your door...

They look pretty good anything for a visual deterant

FATDON you have issues. Police are known to read THIS forum and have a few members that are police. 99% of the time they read and move on but mate you got issues and i am sure one of them would like to send you away for a while where you will learn to "suck on mummies *ock"

They have a job to do we all know the rules and laws and if it stops some DICKHEAD from killing yourself or a family member over this holiday i am all for it

Cheers Nath

Well at least they're marked.

QLD has a red undercover. And it pulls people over left right and centre.

I am one to say it is good that the different states in particular VIC have different police patrol cars other than the standard commodore and falcons. 99 percent of the people caught speeding are doing so in a dangerous way (not that I condone speeding it is rather that 99% are not precautionary). Having a variant of cars allows a greater percentage of drivers to think before they speed.

Source: watching drivers over estimate their abilities for years, no it is not a concrete figure but then again what is in life.

Re: nsw police new evo x

ok sorry to rant on there i understand that was quite uncalled for and cops are tops most of the time. im not a "dickhead" who cruises 140s on the street. i dont drive and havent for many years ive paid the cost and done the time for mistakes i made when i was 19, i was just pissed off at the time i posted that cos a mate of mine just got roasted for nothing and the other "dickhead" involved told stories to the cops and walked away laughing - nothing to do with the car - which the post is about. so to all the cops out there keep up the good work and have fun in your new wheels. anyone else.....hopefully i will get over my issues and not cause any problems to ozliberty or users of the forum. peace.
