New Years reminder

Remember that when you're blind drunk this new years, not to wear dark clothing and walk in the middle of the road on your way home. I had enough trouble playing dodge-the-alco coming home from work last NYE, and don't want to have a repeat performance.

Also remember that if you are drinking :

A) have a cold one for me because I'm stuck at my desk til 4am.

B) don't go for public transport between midnight and 12:30am, unless you like being interviewed for Channel 9 news, telling them how disgusted you are at the lack of trains.

C) if you're in melbourne and are waiting for a taxi, the best place to get one is under the Kings Way bridge at Crown ( next to where Next Blue was/corner of whiteman street ).

D) don't drink n' drive, cos i don't want to have to beat you with a stick.

Keep it safe, y'all, and I'll see you in 07.

it may seem obvious, but im curious as to what you do? working till 4?? yeah that kinda sucks.. ill be in my car, waiting for 0900 to come around to pick a mate up from sydney airport... to then drive back to brisvegas..

origionally i had plans to go nuts and crash at a friends place, planed months ago, to which i recently find out, there is now no availble space....

pffft women...

so i will be leaving wodonga, first thing nye, spending the arv, aimlessly cruising the sreets of sydney, to show up at the airport then drive home..

anyone else jealous??

either way, i too hope everyone has a good and safe new year, and if you see me driving aimlessly, at least wave ::bye:

if i did work on new years, i would have made in one day what i basicaly make in a week. last year i worked australia day...made 900 in cold hard cash :comando:

I was hoping to make it back to Sydney for fireworks on NYE, my flight from South America was to get me in at 9am now it looks like 3pm. Sounds like plenty of time? Here is the funny part. I was delayed over night in Auckland on the way over (same airline), the next day every time I called I was told the flight was delayed another 2 hours. I stayed in Auckland for 3 days!! :Dntknw: I'm curious if I will make it back for New Years.

Anyone thinking of travelling to Argentina, DO NOT fly Aerolineas Argentinas, take LAN Chile or Malaysian Airlines instead. No airline will honour Aerolineas tickets. And the airline itself treats its passengers with disrespect. No wonder the airline is in trouble.
