New To Subaru

  Top of Page

Hi everyone.

I am relatively new to subaru's having recently purchased a Liberty STI ( I think its a 2005 build ).

I am enjoying the car so far, its not exactly fast but it rides okay and stops nice. I like the standard sound system too. I will eventually get around to making it produce more power once I have finished with my other 2 projects.

I look forward to chatting with ya all.

oh, I am also a new addition to Newcastle NSW.

Cheers

Cheers. A mate of mine has an '08 STI, He originally had an "06 and was the reason I bought mine as he was continually bragging to the rest of us guys about it.

other projects are:

2005 BA MKII XR8 Ute - Fitted with Herrod Motorsport Rebuilt engine, Upgraded Stereo, Lowered suspension, stiff sway bars. Herrod Cat Back.
Am currently sourcing the gear to finish it off as a Twin Turbo, I have a pair of Hitachi HT18s-2S Turbo's, 42Lb Injectors and a Walbro 255LB/Hr Fuel Pump. Just need to find a hoist and a welder and buy a few more bits and pieces.

1973 Chevrolet Corvette - Lowered, three piece ROH Monaco Rims, fully polished. Sabre kandy Pearl paint, until last month it was a 440HP 350 LT1 Chevy running alloy heads that I had built with every intention of putting it back on the road, but I have since ripped the engine back out and am now seeking a LS2 and 4L60E to bolt in, So I guess I just opened up another can of worms on that one. The paint needs re-doing but I only seem to attract rip off quotes for doing it so this may be something I will learn for myself very soon.

& Eventually, I will look at upgrading the STI's Performance as well, or maybe even in between other jobs....

Cheers

Welcome mate, plenty of people here that will give you the low down on boosting the power levels. Some very nice projects on the go, where do you find the time!
