by Robbks on 25-08-09 02:49 PM what's the current width? as it's far too skinny even for 15" screens. |

by XoN on 25-08-09 03:28 PM The new site is 900px wide, which is wider than the current one but only slightly. |

by fatcat67 on 25-08-09 03:51 PM Is it not possible to do what RSLib does and just adapt to whatever screen is being used at that time? That is ideal. |

by hawks123 on 25-08-09 04:19 PM I think the fluid width is a lot better. |

by XoN on 25-08-09 04:21 PM That's what I mean by fluid width. Yeah it's possible, it just takes a pretty long time to convert the theme from fixed width to fluid. |

by stocky on 25-08-09 05:16 PM I'm gonna go with fluid width. I'm using widescreens. I'm gonna like the idea when I go from a 15" laptop screen to a 42" plasma, that the width will follow.. |

by phoenix_mtk on 25-08-09 09:59 PM id have to say fluid width, itll be worth the wait and why not apply the car modifying mantra to our site 'do it once, do it properly' will be heaps better, chances are if we do fixed then it'll be changed again later to fluid anyway |

by Blaeven on 25-08-09 11:02 PM the current system (with the SD [fixed] and HD [fluid] buttons) seems to work alright... can we not just stick to the same thing? |

by XoN on 26-08-09 08:34 AM Tristan the fixed/fluid buttons are a feature of this theme. To be honest I don't know why you'd want to switch to fixed width when fluid is an option... |

by billsy on 26-08-09 11:47 AM the smallest screen i use is my laptop which is 1280 wide, fluid would suit me better but if its going to mean months more waiting then go with what you have got and work it out later |
