New Motor...New Dyno Run

  Top of Page

Ok so this is the basic tune for the run in period that I have left...BUT:

18psi producing 598NM of Torque Power +221.7Kw and its achieving this at about 5200rpm

The turbo has about another 4-6psi boost in it.

None of the cams or timing has been played with. So its an UBER basic tune big_smile Its so dang torquey big_smile

Hey Dan, is that the 2.35(2.2 with 2.5 crank)? I'm very interested because this is a similar configuration I am thinking of building up for my car.
How are those JUN variable cams and what grind are you running with?
Are you still using your old ECU and can it handle the variable timing OK?
Sounds great so far.

With this turbo we are looking at 250+ not much better than original you say well it will becoming on real hard and will be very usable power instead of having to wind it out.  With the new turbo I would be disapointed if we didnt reach 320.

Yup 2.35.
Im not sure about the grind of the JUN cams but they are quite agressive.
We havent played with the variable cams yet everything is set to stock atm.
Ive been running the Autronic SM4 from the word go and would never look back. When I had to upgrade to new injectors all we had to do was select that model of injector we put in and the computer compensated for the larger capacity.  The SM4 can handle anything. Ive even got launch control set up:D

Ill let you know next week of the final outcome

Sounds good. I'm running a USDM SM4 and I agree, they are the best.
Keen to hear your results.
