by BigWillieStyles on 28-11-08 11:37 PM Well i didnt expect to be on these forums this morning. I actually went to buy a FD rx7 at a local car yard today and left with a deposit on a nice GTB Legacy which was very clean. |

thanks mate Ive found a few nice looking cat backs. Found a nice looking Sti muffler and heaps of other Fujitsubo and HKS items, kind of guess work picking a nice sounding setup. How about this one? Are Sti ones loud?

Not loud enough. Go the Fujitsubo exhaust. But don't go a diff back. Go get a full system. Many people on here would kill to get the choices you have over there in Japan. Make the most of it hahahahahaha.:Pilot: |

by Adrian2627 on 29-11-08 01:00 PM Autobachs is your friend. Other than that there is a place in Tokyo that sells second-hand performance parts. I can't remember the name of it but I'll try to find out for you. I walked in there for some GT-B parts and almost went home to buy a project 86 just because they had so much stuff available. |

Autobacs down here is awful, full of cup holders and interior neons. The bigger stores in Tokyo are a bit better. You might be thinking of UpGrarage, they have quite alot of second hand stuff like seats and exhausts. They are quite good. Im a bit of a yahoo auction fan:) |

That might be the place. We had a Super Autobachs not far from us in Hiratsuka and it was massive like Bunnings for cars. There was an STI aisle , Nismo aisle, Ralliart aisle then another full of turbo/intercoolers, suspension, etc. They still had the crappy dress-up stuff the Japanese seem to love for their Step Wagons but also had some serious gear. I guess Hiratsuka is the bogan (ヤンーキ) capital of Kanagawa-ken. Nice ride by the way. I had the same but 02 E-Tune. |

I really like ***uoka. Nice exhaust, i just had a bidding war on yahoo tonight for the muffler i wanted above. Went far to high, so i pulled out. So i went and bid on another Sti Genome muffler and got it alot cheaper. I hate how auctions make people do silly things with money:) Only issue with it is the STi writing has worn off, the last owner of the muffler has clearly been driving in the snow. I wonder if i can have it printed on again. So i dont have the car yet, but i have already bought in the last 24hours, an Sti cat back and a front Cusco Strut brace. Now all i have to do is survive the rest of the month with out money and food:help: Car wasnt cheap, but was alot cheaper than the rx7 i was looking at. |
