Hey all, i guess first thing is first, my name is Tim and im from the South East of Melbourne.

Joined up on here because im in the process of relieving myself of vehicles and getting a MY04-05 Liberty GT. Desipite working for Toyota i have always been a Honda guy with all 3 of my cars having been Preludes and one of my 2 motorbikes a fireblade, the other a Yamaha R6. My father on the other hand is a big Subaru fan having owned a '98 Impreza, an '05 Forrester and currently a '08 Outback amoungst others.

It was after driving the Outback i realised that my 20 year old Prelude just wasnt cutting the mustard and that my '08 R6 sees the road less then once a fortnight so i've been spurred on to selling the bike (just need a new rear tyre) and looking for Liberty GT.

I've been a member of various car clubs and forums before so i know the deal of search before you ask and i look forward to owning a GT Lib sometime soon.

Hello Tim smile

I used to have a Honda prelude BB4, my parents use it now for a runabout and it has well over 350,000km everything original. They are great cars.

You will enjoy the GT Liberty, they are quality cars.

You used to be a member of preludeaustralia.com didnt you? Im still on there, probably wasnt under this username during your time, i would have been using 'pwrpla'.

Unfortunatly i have to sell the bike to afford the Lib but i hardly use it anyway and im paying a fortune in insurance so i may as well pay a fortune in insurance for a vehicle i actually use.

Welcome, plenty off 04,05 GT's for sale in Melbourne, if I wasn't in a Subaru most likely I'll be in a Honda, damn good cars.

Yeah Hondas have great build quality but my 1991 prelude isnt one of them >< There are a few GT's to choose from, ill be aming for one with about 110,000km on it to miss the timing belt which i've had to replace on 2 of my 3 cars at great expense so ill be trying to avoid that with the next car. Im stripping my Prelude of its modifications during this week and next so as soon as i can sell my R6 ill be off looking at GT's ^^
