Hi,

I am going for the Celtics - long time love of the legend Larry Bird leads me to this. Though, I cannot deny the Lakers are seriously running game right now.

Spurs? Again? Doubt it.

Thoughts?

Well you all enjoy the scent of other men, so I thought I'd bump this thread.

That's right. My boys. MY BOYS are in the big game. Best of seven series vee LA Lakers.

Big time.

We have home court, so 2 games at home, 3 games away, then 2 back (if necc.).

Hope you're all going for the Celts.

I used to be a STH for the Cats aswell. Old man played ball with Longley Snr... BBQ'd with Mike Ellis... (name dropping?)

Once they left the PEC it all went to poo poo. No atmosphere at Challenge, even though I live within spitting distance (Perth home) I still don't go...

Still have love for the Cats though. The dancers were always a highlight.

I remember seeing Magic Johnson play on the Maccas Team and hitting a buzzer beater from ten foot outside the three point line... was incredible.

LA VS Boston? YOU ARE KIDDING.

I did get to see James Crawford come out of retirment to play for the cannons. That was EPIC. No one knew who to cheer for haha

Hi Richo,

Brown is a bit of a legend. Blackie was a great guy! Well liked in the circles.

My FAVOURITE all time bball moment... Watching the Clippers play Sacramento a few years back in LA. Brent Barry was the dunk champion that year, and Mitch Richmond was the MVP... it was crazy. There was maybe 500 people in the whole stadium, we were like 7 rows back - cheap seats too! The kings won, but it didn't even matter who won or lost - was just awesomeness.

Actually.. seeing Ricky Grace close out the finals with a few clutch ass free throws was up there...

sheesh.

I love this game!

I have played (with some of the guys from work... before my knee died completely) with Greg. i completely suck btw (I was about 75% for 3 points but!!).

A bunch of us went to gero one weekend and watch the (er??) buckaneers. Box seats !! booyhaaa. Free beer (swan gold haha) and KFC!! <- Gero knows how to party!

My fav game was watching Rob Feaster hit something crazy like 50 points in the grand final (his last year I think it was). Pitty it wasn't enough to win.

I dont rate grace. Ball hog IMO

Allen isnt good enough to defend Koby (nobody is really), rondo was doing his best to throw away game 6 against detroit so I think he might get a little nervous and start making mistakes, derek fisher will definately be trying to make that happen, Perkins is almost no chance of stopping Gasol who is just to experience and skillful for a guy his size (I mean he used to run point when he played in europe), obviously KG is more than good enough to be schooling Odom but Odom is no slouch so it shouldnt be all one sided and last but not least Pierce will be all over Radmanovic (spelling?) but he cant win it all by himself.

Atleast thats how i see the matchups going
