My Walk And My Front Bumper

  Top of Page

So i thought i'd do the right thing and go for a walk to start to get a bit fitter.
So after walking up and down Mount Dandenong, this is what happened.
As you can see i kinda miss juged the turning circle.
Before i went into the ditch i thought it's ok i've got the LSD on the back, no worries. So i reversed, and went forwards
But as you can see, one of the back wheels was off the gound, which i didn't realise from inside the car. So i now had only a two wheel drive.
So now what i'm wondering is does anyone have a spare sillver B4 front Bar?

Just bent a little bit and paint has cracked.  The sort of damage that i will notice every time i walk up to the car. Headlights and driving lights are all fine thankfully.

I'd also like to say thanks to the person in the pajero that drove straight past as well.

Really? I take the skyline on dirt/gravel roads all the time... and love it. There's something magical about the back end being so light and being able to steer almost exclusively with the throttle! I guess it must be different with AWD, as the front-end would get light as well... that would *not* be so magical tongue

Hmm, that would make me think it's not a good idea to go for a walk...

Well at least now i know that in that situation it's a better idea to fill the gutter with rocks than try to reverse with one wheel 2 feet off the ground.
Don't they say you learn from mistakes, pitty it was my mistake though.

Yeah ok, maybe cable ties won't help in this situation.

Can it be plastic welded and resprayed, or is the damage too much?

I'm sure it would be repairable.  Just hoping it doesn't cost to much though.
