I've promised not to spend a cent on mine after I bought it.

That went out the window within 8 hours, after the purchase of my first item, a $2.5K DVD HU.

I don't want to count how much I've spent in the seven months I've owned the forking thing, but its over $8K already at an estimate! (which isn't an option on the poll!!)

Really depends on how you look at it, my conversion cost me about $12,000 inc 3" TBE, clutch, etc etc but since doing it I've only spent about $14 on mods to make it go faster, home made CAI & extra olive in the turbo line, also since buying the car I've bought, done up & sold about 5 other Subi's at good profits so it doesn't really owe me a cent.

by the end of this month..mums b4 will of had just over 14k put into her...:ohmy:

single turbo conversion, TBE exhaust, either bigger TMIC or FMIC, stronger clutch, haltech, bigger fuel pump...thats what i can remember of the top of my head.

all this is getting done in the next two weeks , and iam dieing to have a drive when its all done

don't list engine rebuilds and components I consider an engine rebuild (even if its beyond OEM specs) after its been blown up as "repair"... your mum's car has had "downtime" as a result of damage, and a rebuild is a repair...so essentially, its a necessary expenditure. I think the thread was about expenditure on your vehicle that wasn't totally necessary (although the owners would justify it as it being "necessary"... but thats another can of worms...)
