mitsi man with subi family car

  Top of Page

hi guys,
thought i would check out the place, just bought a 03 liberty heritage from a guy here in adeialde some may know him (catford).
sweet ride for the family, as said its a 03 model heritage, mods as we got it are:
super low springs, bbs wheels from B4, bit of a sports exhuast.

had it a week and got a legacy garnish for the back of it. and looking at changing the springs.

if anyone knows what the sti springs sit like and how bilsteins ride would be good. i can get a hold of these at work.

i happen to work at an import dismatler, so i can get some good parts, but not heap. well not as many for this model as we have for the bg.

anyway, hi all.

Hi mate,

Welcome to the site. Sounds like a nice little package you've got there.

The bilsteins aren't exactly a harsh ride, but certainly give a bit more confidence in cornering. The STi's stiffness is really a personal opinion aswell, for me, if I lived in the city I would have no issue with the ride. Being here in the sticks means it's not really an option, but I did have the Billies on the B4 and didn't really notice any harsh ride!

Cheers,
Nik

Hey mate, welcome aboard.

the bilsteins are an excellent shock, and sti springs are a good combination of stiffness vs ride.

what dismantler ou work at? pm if you like, im possibly looking for some parts.

hey,
good comprimise is good as sadly the missus drives the car more than what i do, i would be quite happy with a firm ride, but ive got that so guess i have to sort her out. the bilsteins and sti springs we have at work, so should be able to give them a try first.
to many mitsi's to work on first!!

work at adelaide jap imports/dismantlers

peps can pm me with requests if they like, but sadly i am not the price man so i can only help out.
